Nobody should grow old, or grow up, without enough.
We are a non-profit charitable organisation in New Delhi, putting food and warm clothing into the hands of elders and children who have been left to manage without. We work through organisations already on the ground, so what is given arrives where it is already needed and already trusted.
Every face, every race, finds a place in our grace, no space for disgrace, just embrace and erase.
Fulfilling needs. Three plain ones.
Our mission is to uplift communities through compassion and action, making sure everyone has access to basic necessities and a shot at a better life. In practice that comes down to three things we actually do.
Food and clothing, put directly in hand
The essentials first: meals and wearable, weather-appropriate clothing for elders and children who have been going without. Given directly, and through the homes and shelters that already know them by name.
Time spent with the people we serve
We sit with the elderly and with children before deciding what to give. Needs get asked about rather than assumed. That is the difference between a donation that helps and one that only looks like it.
Built on collaboration, not duplication
We work alongside established organisations instead of competing with them. Their reach and relationships, our resources and hands, so help arrives faster and travels further than we could take it alone.
Two ends of a life, both easy to overlook.

Old age arrives quietly for most people and cruelly for some. The elders we reach have outlived their savings, their work, and sometimes everyone who would have looked after them. A hot meal and a warm layer are small things to give. Going without them is not a small thing to live.

A child who is cold or hungry is not thinking about school, or play, or what comes next. We start at the bottom of the list: food, clothing, being noticed. Every other part of a childhood is built on top of that.
Think of giving not as a duty but as a privilege.
Where the money goes, and where it does not.
Everything given to Sangita Foundation goes into the charitable work itself. Not into overheads, not into fundraising, not into us.
We hold ourselves to transparency in how contributions are used, and to being able to show exactly where they went when anyone asks.
We are not taking monetary donations at this time. We are working towards it, and we would rather say so plainly than collect money before the process behind it is right. Until then, there are better ways to help.
You can help today without giving a rupee.
